GLASS FOR FAÇADE 2018
/ SAINT-GOBAIN BUILDING GLASS – FACADE 12 Architects from the Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) lead the project, along with Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France. Delivered in June 2017, the imposing building accounts for a glass surface exceeding 50,000 m 2 . The architects aim was to symbolize the transparency of justice. Thanks to SAINT-GOBAIN glass solutions, the future court will provide real comfort to its occupants with acoustic and thermal insulation, solar control glass, fire protection and silk screened glass. While choosing SAINT-GOBAIN glass, the Paris Courthouse, which meets the requirements of the Climate Plan of the City of Paris, will consume two times less energy than the recent towers of La Defense, thus taking the spotlight in the exemplary achievements against global warming.
