33 SAINT-GOBAIN BUILDING GLASS 30 The pyramid-like geometry gives a pleasant lightness. The spectacular façade of the Groninger Forum attracts the most attention: a dynamic interplay of geometric façade surfaces that are connected to one another at different angles. The large glass surfaces on both sides of the building ensure the open character. They do not only offer a fantastic view of the city, but also make the activities in the building visible from the outside. The glass for the large atrium façade and for the loopholes was supplied by SAINT-GOBAIN. There is a total of around 2,500 m 2 of forward and backward inclined glazing, parallelograms and panes with «polygons». The functional glass COOL-LITE ® SKN 176 together with PLANITHERM ® XN ensures neutrality and high energy efficiency.
