Public players: moving the lines In the sustainable construction ecosystem, public stakeholders play a central role, since they can influence the future adoption of this approach. Their levers: the adoption of clear regulations and policies. This position is confirmed by the results of this Barometer, which consistently ranks them at the very top of the stakeholders considered to have the ability to move the yardsticks (44% for "institutions" and 35% for "elected individuals"). Meanwhile, 65% of elected officials believe that sustainable construction is a priority. Even if they feel they need more education – only 25% of them say they are well informed and 34% say they would like more evidence.
