EUROPEAN UNION Level(s), a unified assessment framework EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK. Level(s) is an assessment and reporting tool designed to improve the performance of buildings. Based on existing standards, this framework provides a common language, valid throughout the European Union, for the building transformation process. This unified framework is based on six macro-objectives addressing all the key aspects of sustainability throughout a building’s life cycle: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, circularity of construction materials, efficient use of water resources, creating comfortable and healthy living spaces, building adaptation and resilience, and optimizing life-cycle costs and value. © Michael H INSPIRING PROJECTS 103
